Working with Sunrise and their partners for delivery of a 3MW Solar Farm at Boonanarring was a positive experience. They demonstrated not only a deep knowledge of renewable energy systems but were focussed on understanding our needs as a company and making sure they focussed on how these could best be served. Sunrise Energy Group (Sunrise) and it’s partners (Avora Energy and Jarrah Solutions) were instrumental to the development of the Peel Industrial Renewable Energy Microgrid. They took on the lead roles of design, project management and construction of key components of this first-of-its-kind microgrid, notably with regards to the embedded generation and storage assets, the control and protection scheme and obtaining the approvals to operate and connection to the SWIS grid. Sunrise’s involvement demonstrated and highlighted their ability to navigate the complex landscape of regulations, network connections and operating licences in the WA market and was crucial to making the Peel Industrial Renewable Energy microgrid both a reality and ongoing success.

In delivering an off-grid renewable power system at our facility located in the South-West, Sunrise Energy Group and their partners proved to be a very capable, proactive and trustworthy supplier. The excellent performance of our system made it easy to select Sunrise as our partner of choice for delivery of similar systems at other properties and has also resulted in an ongoing relationship with Sunrise as we collaborate on other renewable energy based endeavours
